Days out!

The War Memorial

As you know I went to Builth Wells last Monday when The Oh! Bearded One had go there for work.

A painted mural by a bus stop that amused me

Here are a few shots from around the town.

I'm not sure what he has to do with anything but he was rather handsome

A very welsh looking cottage

A different use for a disused church

An early steam train

On Saturday The Oh! Bearded One, DD, Little Gromit and I went to Ironbridge and one of the Ironbridge Gorge museums. It was a lovely sunny day and we really enjoyed our day out.

We visited Blist Hill Victorian Town and have got passes to go and visit the other sites within the year.

Old metal signs on the side of one of the shops

the mission chapel

a working carousel

I love post boxes!

An old dustbin with a modern bin liner in it!

The staff dress up in Victorian dress

A steam driven tractor

A 'Bobby' on his bicycle!

Looks like a great day out spending quality time with family. I can't believe how much Little Grommit has grown.
