Mug rugs 1

I took part in the Quilting Galleries'
Mug Rug swap that has run in the last 2 months.

These are the 2 I received. The patterns were provided by Amanda from The Patchsmith blog

They were made by Dorien from the Netherlands. Thank you so much Dorien, they are beautifully made and I love them.
Go over and see Amanda, she has got some beautiful patterns for mugrugs and they are in pdf format so you pay for them and get them instantly. There are one or two I intend to buy to make for presents.
I'm not showing the ones I made as I don't think they have arrived at their destination yet.
I will also be taking part in Quilting Galleries' Dreaming of Spring Mini Quilt swap over the next few weeks.

This is where I now work.
As I've said before it is a grade 2 listed Georgian mansion house built for Lord Crewe. Grade 2 listing means that certain things can't be changed and permission has to be sought before certain works are done.

The front door!

Part of the hallway.

The office. I share it with my admin support. I've had a tidy up since this photo was taken.
